Floriography
Even if you’re not familiar with the concept, chances are you’ve already used this ancient form of cryptography that uses flowers to communicate a message. It was very popular in Victorian England and served as inspiration for the Anglo-Portuguese artist Jacqueline de Montaigne, who brought this technique to a more modern context, that of urban art, in the mural she now painted at Largo Hintze Ribeiro, in Lisbon.
